Uniserve is a leading provider of innovative logistics solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our new warehouse.

Hours for this role are 14.00 to 22.00

Your Role

As Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing warehouse staff, assigning workloads, and evaluating performance
  • Monitoring and reporting on warehouse productivity and efficiency
  • Providing training and coaching to new team members on company standards, job duties, and customer service
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
  • Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies
  • Addressing staff performance and development issues
  • Coordinating labor requirements to meet workload demands
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year supervisory experience in a warehousing environment is essential
  • Experience in fast paced multi user organisation preferred - at least
  • Strong adaptability and a willingness to embrace change
  • A self-motivated and driven approach to work
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems
  • A solid understanding of logistics and warehousing operations
  • Previous experience in bond/ETSF area management (desirable)
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • A customer-focused mindset
  • A commitment to working to standard operating procedures and ensuring site compliance
