A busy truck and trailer rental company in Felixstowe is seeking a Trailer Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of trailer maintenance and a keen ability to manage costs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the maintenance of the companys trailer fleet, ensuring cost-efficient solutions are implemented.
- Analyze invoices and coordinate with internal and external workshops to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Handle customer requests with a focus on finding the most economical resolutions.
- Manage relationships with parts suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of trailer maintenance.
- Strong analytical skills for invoice review and cost management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Working Hours:
- 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
