We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to inspire and educate students in Years 5 and 6. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant school community in Felixstowe, where creativity and a passion for teaching are highly valued.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils and adhere to the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment in the classroom that encourages students to achieve their best.                  
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for transitions and ensuring they meet learning milestones.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to support student development and address educational concerns.
  • Participate in school events, activities, and staff meetings, contributing to the school's ethos and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching Years 5 and 6.
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young minds.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
