Our client specialises in the development, production, and marketing of microorganisms and their derivatives, and they're looking for a Quality Controller to join them.
?? Position: Quality Controller
?? Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (24 months)
?? Working Pattern: Part Time (Wednesday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm)
?? Annual Salary: £19,766 (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities: As a Quality Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our client's products through analytical testing and documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing analyses on raw materials and finished products according to agreed schedules.
- Reporting accurate analytical results in a timely manner.
- Immediately flagging out-of-specification results and non-conformances to ensure product quality.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the laboratory environment.
- Participating in internal and external audits to uphold our quality management system.
- Keeping skills updated and training other team members as necessary.
What We're Looking For: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience in a quality control role, preferably within the food, pharma, or medical industries.
- A keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate clear collaboration across departments.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
