Transport Planner

Location: Felixstowe

Salary: 35,000 (DOE)

My client is looking to take on an enthusiastic Transport Planner to join their growing Transport and Freight Division..

Work Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm) - Flexible

Package:

Salary Up to 35,000
21 days increasing plus bank holidays.

Role:

Routing company owned vehicles
You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
Ensure all customers are kept up to date
All necessary admin must be completed
You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.

Requirements:

Extensive Transport route planning skill
Excellent geographical knowledge
Strong communication skills
