The Role
Overview
Our client is seeking to appoint a motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join their dynamic logistics and supply chain management services sales team, working in our Aerospace and Pharma/Healthcare vertical markets.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new leads and sales opportunities by making outbound cold calls to prospective customers, with a focus on selling logistics and supply chain management services.
You will be the initial point of contact for potential clients, introducing them to our solutions, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for our Head of Aerospace and Head of Pharma/Healthcare. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional approach, a strong technical aptitude and a relentless drive to meet and exceed targets.
Overall Responsibility
Lead Generation: Identify, generate, and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the CRM system. Assess prospective clients’ needs and determine if they are a good fit for the company's services.Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of the services being sold and be able to explain how they solve specific customer pain points.Market Sector Knowledge: Gain a basic understanding of the Aerospace and Pharma/Healthcare industry sectors and be able to discuss logistics and supply chain management requirements with potential customers operating in these sectors.Customer Engagement: Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and other communication tools to understand their needs and provide relevant information about products/services. Initiate re-cycling process for clients contacted previously, to ensure regular contact is maintained.Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified sales appointments for Head of Aerospace and Head of Pharma/Healthcare to further discuss requirements and potential solutions.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Freight Forwarding: background, with basic experience in freight forwarding sector.Sales Experience: Prior experience (2+ years) in a sales or telemarketing role, especially in technical or B2B sales environments, is preferred.Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts, especially related to Aerospace and Pharma/Healthcare solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a persuasive and confident approach.Customer-Oriented: Strong focus on customer needs and the ability to relate these to the clients services.
