We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our team at London Heathrow. This role involves managing the credit control ledger for assigned client accounts, collecting debts, and maintaining accurate customer records. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit control, making high-volume outbound calls, and a strong understanding of the purchase order process.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Managing Credit Control: Oversee the credit control ledger for assigned client accounts, ensuring timely collection of debts.
  • Collecting Debts: Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, or letter to collect outstanding debts.
  • Maintaining Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date customer records and payment statuses.
  • Resolving Queries: Address and resolve customer and invoice queries promptly.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Producing Reports: Generate credit reports for management to review.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Conduct bank reconciliations using Exact software.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a credit control role.
  • Proven track record of managing high volumes of outbound calls.
  • Strong experience and understanding of the purchase order process.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload and meet challenging deadlines and targets.
  • Proficient in using Exact software for financial processes is advantageous
