We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner at a highly successful and nurturing all-through school in Feltham, catering to children aged 4 to 18. This role focuses on supporting the Nursery Class within the Primary School, providing an excellent chance to help shape young children's early learning experiences.

Position Details:

  • Role: Early Years Practitioner
  • Hours: Mon to Frid 8am-4pm

About the Role: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Full-Time Commitment: Work Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM
  • Creative Lesson Support: Assist in preparing engaging and dynamic lessons using visual prompts, audio tools, and bright colours to enhance learning experiences.
  • Early Learning Development: Help children master foundational skills like recognizing the alphabet, naming everyday objects, and developing early cognitive abilities.
  • Safe Learning Environments: Ensure that classrooms and outdoor play areas are both safe and child-friendly, promoting an optimal environment for learning.
  • Parental Engagement: Regularly communicate with parents about their child's progress, offering positive feedback and strategies to address early development challenges.

What We're Looking For:

  • Availability: Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • DBS Check: Either already hold or be willing to apply for a Child-Only DBS.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with children in the UK, ideally in a school or nursery setting.
  • Passion for Early Years: Enjoy working with young children, supporting their learning, and watching them grow.
  • Knowledge of EYFS: Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and a background in early years education is preferred.
  • Location: Live in or be able to commute to Feltham or the surrounding area.
