Are you an experienced air import clerk with at least 2 years of experience? Are you familiar with CDS customs procedures?
My client is seeking an experienced Air Import Clerk for their Feltham-based company. The successful candidate will coordinate multi-air import shipments, ensuring customs compliance whilst providing first-class customer service at all times. This is an office-based position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, as well as a half day to be worked every 1 in 5 Sundays on a rota, with paid overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate air import shipments from start to finish
- Ensure customs compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Submit entries for Imports in HMRC Customs Procedures using CDS
- Use of BoxTop and ASM Sequoia
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of air import experience
- Proficient in HMRC Customs Procedures, including CDS
- Experience using ASM Sequoia or BoxTop would be ideal but is not essential
- Customer-focused with the ability to build strong relationships
Package & Salary:
- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience
