We’re looking for a Forwarder to join a dynamic team, handling end-to-end forwarding activities and delivering exceptional customer service. If you have experience in freight forwarding, customs processes, and logistics operations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What you’ll be doing:- Managing end-to-end forwarding operations, including clearances, quotations, shipments, deliveries, and invoicing.
- Ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and KPIs to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Working closely with internal and external customers to provide seamless service.
- Handling customs entries, cost control, and job costing to ensure operational accuracy.
- Resolving customer and supplier queries promptly and professionally.
- Assisting senior forwarders and management with day-to-day operations.
- Generating reports and ensuring all documentation is completed within deadlines.
- Maintaining compliance with CAA, TAPA, HMRC, GDP, and IATA regulations.
- Supporting customer development by participating in client reviews and maintaining strong relationships.
- Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of international transportation, including Air, Sea, and Road exports.
- Strong understanding of customs processes and financial impact on business.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office.
- Team-oriented mindset with a customer service-driven approach.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required.
