Our Client is a reputable air freight warehouse base in Heathrow. They are currently looking for hire an import Co-Ordinator to join their team.

The import customer service coordinator ensures that all air import shipments are effectively managed to high customer service level meeting internal KPIs. Responsible for Coordinating all air import consolidated shipments to ensure delivery of customer service excellence, efficiency, financial, quality, and KPIs are achieved.

Importance the main areas of accountability of the role:- Adhere to the department plan that is communicated to via the Air import Manager & Team Leader and execute the strategies applicable.- Coordinate and manage air import shipments from origin to destination.- Communicate effectively with clients, airlines, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations.- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.-Updating of the tracking and tracing system is executed timely and accurately.- Prepare and process import documentation, including customs clearance to internal brokerage team.- Proactively communicate internally with import gateway department with day-to-day shipment information/offloads/delays. Build a network of relationships at the required levels within the organization.- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or delays in the import process

While experience within the industry is desirable, it not essential.

Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights, 7am to 7pm

Please note that dues to the nature of the job, the candidate will have to go through security screening, which includes a 5 years reference check & clean DBS.
