Job Title: Air Freight Operator

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Freight Forwarder with a focus on air freight to join our team in Hounslow. In this role, you will be responsible for managing air freight operations, delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating logistics activities including shipments, clearances, quotes, invoicing, and more. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth, efficient operations within the air freight sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end air freight forwarding tasks,
- Coordinate air freight shipments, including bookings, clearances, and timely deliveries.
- Ensure timely invoicing, job costing, and report generation for air freight shipments.
- Resolve queries from customers and suppliers with a focus on air freight services.
Requirements:
- Proven customer service and operational experience in air freight and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international transport, with a focus on air freight operations.
- In-depth understanding of financials and their impact on air freight business.
- Proficient in MS Office and transport-related IT systems.
