Cost Engineer - Feltham - Salary up to £42,000 OTE (On Target Earnings) + Benefits - Ref 1789
I am currently recruiting for a Cost Engineer to work for a lead engineering organisation based in Feltham. Salary up to £42,000 OTE (On Target Earnings) + Benefits.
The organisation is an industry leader within their field delivering world class products into a specialist market. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.
Due to a further expansion in the demand of their product range, the organisation has the need to appoint a Cost Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Cost Engineer, you will be a crucial and supporting link to the production team, using their ERP system to generate quotes and estimates for their products to a broad client base. This will also require you to generate a Bill of Materials as required as well as a method of manufacture and routing specification to ensure the overall production efficiency is maximised across the Production Engineering Team. There will be Engineering changes required sporadically dependant on the requirements and/or manufacturing scenario.
Ideal Requirements:
- Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree or similar.
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication methods inclusive of MIG/TIG welding and machining processes.
- Bill of materials or routings.
