First Choice Staff are recruiting on behalf of a major freight forwarder, who are looking for an Operations Assistant join their Night Export department.
The successful candidate will be self-driven and results-orientated with a strong background in export documentation within the Air Freight industry.
Shift: Mon - Fri, either 5pm - 1.30am or 6pm - 2.30am
Salary: 拢30k - 拢33k depending on experience
Daily tasks
路 Producing MAWBs?and HAWBs? 路 Producing CSDs?? 路 Check lot x-ray log? 路 Check MUCR/DUCRs match in ICE? 路 Any consol re-hashes? 路 Cut/Close consols daily? 路 To be able to service large accounts? 路 Monitoring the gateway inbox, answering emails, queries etc.路 Check post-flights? 路 Split documentation in Cargowise? 路 General housekeeping when required.? Responsibilities
路 To maintain systems and processes and to provide good customer service. Production & preparation of and all related requirements for exports.? 路 HMC control requirements to enable exports? 路 To liaise with airlines, branches and warehouse 路 To ensure shipment procedures are followed according to procedures? 路 To maintain accurate data on company systems? 路 To match Export Records for export customs 路 Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment? Requirements
路 Strong background in Exports within the Air Freight industry路 Microsoft Office, Word and Excel? 路 Good communicator 路 Team Player? 路 Experience with Security "Regulated Agent" and CargoWise would be preferred but not essential? 路 Analytical skills an advantage Employee Benefits:
