Role:  Operations Coordinator, Technical Services

Location: Ashford, Staines

Hours: Monday to Friday – shifts between 08:00-16:30 , 08:30-17:00, 09:00-17:30 – hybrid available after successful completion of probation

Salary: £27,000

A fantastic  opportunity has now arisen for an Operations Coordinator to join our client’s successful team in Ashford, Staines.

About our client:

About the role:

The Operations coordinator role is an integral role, pivotal to the success of the business. The primary function of the role is to coordinate deliveries, installations & other delivery services for several key accounts. You will be expected to take ownership of daily operational challenges, quickly identify solutions & implement appropriate action plans to overcome such daily operation scenarios.

You will understand all elements of your customer accounts & embrace the ethos of achieving operational & customer service excellence.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Manage requests for deliveries, collections, relocations & installations for key customers
  • Book jobs for customers on internal systems, raise relevant paperwork & maintain database
  • Provide quotations
  • Take full ownership of orders end to end including liaising with customers to keep them updated
  • Order services as required from this party suppliers
  • Manage team mail box activity efficiently & in line with KPIs

Skills & experience:

  • Minimum of three years customer service  in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Excellent planning & organisation skills
  • Strong team player with a flexible, positive attitude – will need to work extended hours during peak period
  • Experience of working in a transport, logistics or installations environment is desirable
