Do you have previous progress planning/progress chasing experience within production, procurement or supply chain? 

I am recruiting for a Production Progress Chaser for a repeat client in the Feltham area. My client is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing industry, specialising in filtration and separation equipment, and have previously won the 'Company of the Year' award for two consecutive years in a row! The Production Progress Chaser will be responsible for ensuring a smooth production process - working efficiently through supply and demand related queries, actioning and managing work orders, swiftly dealing with any shortages and potential associated risks/escalations. This is a permanent, office-based position working from Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break.

Main duties: 

  • Pro-actively planning and scheduling work.
  • Planning routes, bills of materials and issuing work orders.
  • Ensuring that parts are supplied to the correct team leaders.
  • Scheduling works with a key focus on prioritisation, cost and availability of labour. Setting and agreeing delivery dates, working with sub-contractors to ensure that jobs are sent and received on time.
  • Keeping appropriate parties informed of any progress and production-related issues by attending planning meetings and following up.
  • Working closely with various departments including Procurement, Stock Control, Production Control, Costing, Production Engineering, Quality, Development, Manufacturing and Sales.
  • Reviewing systems, procedures, and operations to maintain continuous improvements in production efficiency.

Key requirements: 

  • Previous experience in supply chain planning or procurement.
  • Experience planning/scheduling work, production planning, progress chasing or route planning.
  • Computer literate with experience using Outlook and Excel. 
  • Ability to interpret CAD/technical drawings would be ideal.

  • Base salary of £25,000.
