Music Teacher
Tradewind recruitment are working with a large secondary school based in Hounslow who are currently looking for a Music Teacher.
School are looking for someone to start ASAP on a long term contract until July 2025 and then extend the placement to the permanent contract.
This position is full time but school are open to part time applicants. Working hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Salary will match outer London MPS/UPS.
School has available parking spaces.
Music Teacher :
- Offer strong teacher subject and pedagogical knowledge.
- Engage in helping students develop knowledge of music theory and its application
- Enable life-long skill development and practical skill application
- Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment, while challenging students to reach their full potential
- Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable and encouraging
The music department will allow students to develop a lifelong appreciation of Music. Examples of Schemes of work: Ukulele skills, Keyboard skills, songwriting and Music production.
