We are working with a Medium sized Freight Forwarder who have an exciting opportunity for an Air Export Clerk.

Looking for 1-2 years Air Export experience start to finish, if needs training in any areas will look at that.

Role Involves:

Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
Completion of end-to-end forwarding activities when required.
Follow strict and time sensitive SOPs/KPIs to ensure compliance.
Work closely with internal and external customers.
Use of Cargo wise/ M office as requested.
Ensure invoicing and job costing are updated within the required timeframe.
Dealing with month end department compliance.
Customs entries.
Assist Supervisors and Line Manager where required.
Ensure all reports including internal and customer specific are completed within the deadline.
Resolve queries from Customers and Suppliers.
Ensure Best Practice models are adopted.

Ensure Best Practice models are adopted.
Work closely with line managers to complete internal and external rate reviews.
To take part in customer reviews when required.
Always maintain customs and H & S complaint.

Experience:

1-2 years Air Export Start to Finish experience.
Good Customs Clearance experience.
Good Operational knowledge.
A high level of customer service skills.
Fully PC Literate and can pick up new systems.
Cargo Wise experience advantage.
Knowledge of Customs Tariffs and procedures.
Problem solving experience.
Negotiation skills.
Self-motivation and drive to succeed.

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
