Company Description:

A leading manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join their team. Whilst this role will be focussed on payroll you will also be involved with HR activities such as recruitment & onboarding.

Responsibilities as HR and Payroll Administrator:

  • Process payrolls for all employees across the factory including employee benefits.
  • Process all relevant documentation to be submitted to inland revenue.
  • Ensure HR information is up to date at all times.
  • Respond to any payroll queries and resolve effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Provide data as necessary related to payroll for pay changes and management reports.
  • Support HR with employee related issues including absence, performance management, disciplinary and grievances.
  • Front recruitment related activities to include arranging interviews and managing relationships with external suppliers.
  • Prepare job descriptions in co-ordination with the Hiring Manager
  • Support on-boarding and induction process
  • Manage company car fleet administration and issues.
  • Support HR projects as directed by the HR Manager

Skills & Experience required as HR and Payroll Administrator:

  • Experience in a Payroll and HR support related role ideally gained within a manufacturing environment (not essential)
  • Experience of payroll of 100+ employees
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of all payroll processes and calculations running payroll from start to finish.
  • Understanding of HR Legislation / Employment Law understanding.
