About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Hounslow. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are keen to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment. You will work closely with our experienced Science department to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to foster a love for Science and improve academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective Science lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students in practical lab sessions, ensuring safety and understanding.
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).

  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
