Quantity Surveyor Required in Feltham

GVR Solutions are currently working with an existing client of ours who are a specialist joinery contractor based in Feltham. This particular client are a rapidly growing business that specialise in joinery packages across the residential and primer residential sector.They are going througha positive growth period at the momentand are looking to take on an experienced quantity surveyor to join their well-established team.

Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:

• Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction
• Review project progress and present project data as appropriate
• Sub-contract Tendering
• Cost Control and reporting
• Attend projects meetings
• Procurement
• Final Accounts
• Assist with larger projects

The Quantity Surveyor must have/be:

• Hold a Quantity Surveying degree or Construction Management degree
• Have experience in Joinery
• Surveying experience in the construction industry
• Relevant IT Skills
• Excellent oral communication and written skills
• A good knowledge of Maths
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
• Confident, Articulate and a critical thinker
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Willing to undertake training and development when needed.
