Some learners are working at Level 3, and they’re keen to push higher—so we’re after someone confident delivering English from Entry Level to Level 3, with the flexibility to support a range of ability levels, including high-attaining learners.You’ll be part of a passionate education team delivering lessons that build literacy, self-belief and future potential. Alongside teaching, you’ll have generous non-contact time, planning periods, and a flexible timetable—with PPA and admin time built into your week.What the job looks like:

Up to 23 teaching hours/week: 3.5 hrs in the morning, 2 in the afternoon (Mon–Thurs), 3 hrs on Fridays (and you finish at 1pm on Fridays!)
Often a few free sessions each week—used for 1:1 outreach with learners who can’t attend group lessons
5 groups in total, with a fixed calendar of 35 days’ holiday, plus 5 additional floating days to use more flexibly

A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS or equivalent)
Subject specialism in English
Confidence working with young people, including those with ADHD or SEN
Resilience, humour, and a belief in second chances
