We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor specialising in Maths for the Offender Learning Sector. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of learners, helping them improve their skills and contribute positively to their communities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education in Maths to meet contractual requirements and standards.
- Ensure teaching strategies and resources meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners to maximise their progress and attainment.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of learner progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Full teaching qualification in Maths.
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Proven track record of effective teaching in Maths.
- Ability to gain, hold, and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
