  1. Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The role involves ensuring the efficient handling of goods within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching orders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Receive, check, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring all goods are accounted for and in good condition.
    • Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements and company standards.
    • Load and unload goods from vehicles safely using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts (if certified).
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate records are kept.
    • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks, scanners, and IT systems for stock control.
    • Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring they are securely packaged and correctly labeled.
    • Assist with returns processing, ensuring goods are correctly categorized and stored.
    • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
    • Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and maintaining records.
    • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
    • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and IT systems is an advantage.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Team player with good communication skills.
