  1. Warehouse Operative Duties:

    1. Goods Inward:

      • Report and document any damaged or missing items.
    2. Storage and Inventory:

      • Organize and store goods efficiently, ensuring they are easily accessible.
      • Maintain accurate records of inventory.
      • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
    3. Order Picking and Packing:

      • Pick items according to customer orders or dispatch requirements.
      • Pack goods securely for shipping or delivery.
      • Label packages with accurate shipping information.
    4. Dispatch:

      • Prepare goods for dispatch, including loading vehicles.
      • Ensure timely and accurate shipping of orders.
      • Handle documentation such as delivery notes or shipping labels.
    5. Health and Safety:

      • Follow workplace safety procedures to prevent accidents.
      • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
      • Operate equipment safely and report hazards or incidents.
    6. General Tasks:

      • Assist in loading/unloading vehicles manually or with equipment.
      • Support other team members as needed in a fast-paced environment.
    Forklift (FL) Driver Duties:
    1. Material Handling:

      • Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach, or other types) to move, load, and unload goods.
      • Stack and store materials in the appropriate locations safely and efficiently.
      • Handle fragile or heavy items with care to prevent damage.
    2. Vehicle Loading/Unloading:

      • Load and unload lorries, containers, or pallets using forklifts.
      • Secure loads to prevent movement or damage during transport.
    3. Inventory Management:

      • Assist with stock control by moving items to correct locations.
      • Transport goods to and from staging areas for production or dispatch.
    4. Equipment Maintenance:

      • Perform routine checks on forklifts (e.g., fuel, oil levels, battery charge).
      • Report any faults or maintenance needs to supervisors.
    5. Compliance:

      • Follow health and safety regulations while operating equipment.
      • Adhere to workplace procedures, including weight limits and traffic rules.
    6. Coordination with Warehouse Team:

      • Work closely with warehouse operatives to streamline processes.
      • Communicate efficiently to ensure smooth movement of goods.
