The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant commencing as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be offering general support alongside the teacher and other support staff ensuring to provide a vibrant, nurturing and engaging learning environment. Previous early years’ experience is essential for this role. This is a full-time role, continuing until the end of the academic year with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Have experience of supporting in Early Years.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have excellent knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
