The School and Role
A Primary School based in Newcastle are seeking to employ a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join their enthusiastic team. The successful applicant will be expected to cover across Early Years – Key Stage 1, mainly covering foundation subjects. As part of this role, the HLTA will be expected to mark for all lessons delivered and liaise with the class teacher on pupil progress/feedback. This is a full-time role, with potential to continue until the end of the academic year.
Requirements
The desired Higher-Level Teaching Assistant will:
- Preferably have experience of working across EYFS – KS1.
- Preferably hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
