The School and Role

A Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to employ an interventions teacher from May 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, offering small group and 1:1 intervention’s throughout the week, predominantly focusing on Mathematics and English. The school would preferably like an experienced teacher for this role, with prior experience of supporting pupils with SEND.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

  • Experience of teaching across KS1-KS2.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
  • An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
