Job Description:


As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that exams are conducted in a secure, fair, and controlled environment.

You will be responsible for supervising students during examinations, ensuring all rules and regulations are adhered to, and addressing any issues that may arise during the exam.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the examination room is set up according to the required guidelines and that all students are seated appropriately.
  • Supervise students throughout the exam, ensuring a quiet and focused environment.
  • Confirm that all students have the correct materials and follow the exam procedures.
  • Monitor for any incidents of misconduct, reporting issues promptly.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers and any additional materials required.
  • Provide assistance to students with general exam-related queries while adhering to exam rules.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures strictly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in a high-pressure environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
  • Flexibility to work during various exam periods, including weekends, evenings, and holiday times.
  • A commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the examination process.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Supporting Hours:

AM: 8am until 1130am

PM: 12 (noon) until 3pm

Full day: 8am until 3pm

2 days training and expectations outline will be provided prior to starting with the school

Compliance:

  • DBS on the update service or willing to apply through us
  • EWC or willing to apply through us
  • References to cover the last 2 years
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience, desirable but not essential
  • Drive due to location, however not essential as long as happy to travel
