Job Description:Â We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration within an accountancy practice or legal services. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
- Handle client communications, including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Maintain and organize office files, documents, and records.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and the preparation of financial documents.
- Support the accounting team with various administrative duties as needed.
- Ensure the office is well-maintained and supplies are stocked.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
- Coordinate office events and meetings, including arranging logistics and catering.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in an accountancy practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
