Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CLASS 2 Driver to be submitted to the next paid induction in Ferndown on 20th June at 07:30 (around 4 hours). The successful candidates should be available start work Friday 21/6/24.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste to various locations. This position requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.

Pay

£12.39 per hour

Hours

37 hours per week

Standard working pattern: 06:00 - 13:30 (13:00 Friday)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
• Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient delivery
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Bank holiday working could be a requirement (1.5x pay increase)

Requirements

• To be considered for this post you must hold a minimum Category C (26T) CLASS 2 driving licence
• Must have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical demands of the job
