CAD Technician Job in Ferndown

Our client is a specialist within the manufacturing and construction industry. They are looking to recruit a new a CAD Technician. The role of the CAD Technician will be to work within their existing Contracts team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture
Producing drawings using AutoCAD
Preparing Technical and Sample submittals
Liaising with Contractors, Architects and End Users
Document management utilising online Intranet based document control systems
Preparation of associated documentation to ensure compliance
Liaison with manufacturing partners

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience within Construction Industry
Experience of working with AutoCAD
Focused team player
Commercially aware
Ability to work under pressure and to precise deadlines
Ability to instigate changes for continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills
Full product and system training will be provided
No known health risks for this role

Salary and Benefits:

A salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Annual performance related bonus
Monthly payment intervals
Working Monday - Friday - part time hours offered
Company pension scheme
