Role Responsibilities- Managing a mixed portfolio of private individuals, businesses, and trusts, ensuring timely and accurate compliance across both personal and corporate tax
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, offering tailored tax planning and advisory services
- Delivering advice on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, corporation tax, and trust matters
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, reviewing work and providing training and feedback
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting with advisory projects
- Ensuring client work complies with legislation and firm procedures
- Communicating with HMRC and managing responses to tax enquiries and disclosures
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking and supportive team at a firm with a strong reputation for delivering expert advice and personal service across tax, accountancy, financial planning, and business advisory services.
Candidate Requirements- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or QBE with relevant experience)
- Solid experience handling both personal and corporate tax within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as trusts, CGT, IHT, and corporation tax
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A proactive approach and keen eye for identifying advisory opportunities
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff is advantageous
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
