TeamJobs are looking for an Assistant to offer support to the Planning Coordinator. The company have been through a period of growth and are now looking for another person to join the team, to ensure that contracts are both maintained and developed through excellent customer service and response times. As well as assisting with growth of the service & repair department.

The position is based at their head office in Ferndown, Dorset & the role will be reporting to the Service & Repairs Manager.

The Salary for this role is between 25,000 to 27,000 per annum DOE

This role involves:

  • Being the point of contact for customers to book in upcoming repair and service works.
  • Assisting the coordinator with planning engineer diaries and programme.
  • Always providing excellent customer service.
  • Developing knowledge and building a rapport about each customer's business and requirements.
  • Creating purchase orders for any plant requirements on site works.
  • Assisting in product purchasing for any repair works if needed.
  • Daily calls to the engineer teams to discuss todays work and tomorrows upcoming work.
  • Receiving and processing incoming engineer worksheets daily.
  • Maintaining competent understanding of company's products, their functions, and alternatives.
  • Coordinate, analyse and improve customer service functions to meet company goals.

The successful candidate must have good PC skills, including Microsoft Office & other IT programs. An eye for attention to detail and the ability to problem solve. The ideal candidate must have experience in customer service, good time management and have excellent communication skills; interpersonal, listening, oral & written.
