Graduate Marketing Assistant Job in Ferndown (Hybrid)

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Graduate Marketing Assistant on behalf of our successful client based in Ferndown. What you’ll be doing as Graduate Marketing Assistant:

• Execute the UK marketing strategy, working with the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing Executive

• Collaborate with key accounts to deliver bespoke marketing plans across digital, print, and event channels

• Design marketing assets in Adobe Creative Suite, such as banners, flyers, and catalogue pages for customer growth campaigns

• Develop materials for lead generation across new distribution channels, including digital content, imagery, and brochures for both online and offline marketing

• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and competitor insights

• Act as a brand and product ambassador, support with new product training to internal team

• Build customer-facing presentations that highlight product benefits and value

• Implement Social Media strategy. Analyse, test and optimize content for engagement

• Create social content including reels, carousels, stories, and videos, guiding user-generated content creation where needed

• Create and schedule email campaigns in accordance with the overall email marketing plan and strategy

• Collaborate with international marketing colleagues to support global campaigns

• Review and refine English text/translations for various marketing materials such as landing pages, system updates, sample packs, fact sheets, brochures, social templates, and product packaging

• Occasionally attend international meetings at the Head Office in Germany and offsite events to represent the brand

• Manage our customer enquiry email inboxes

What they’re looking for:

You’ve made your start in the marketing world, and you won’t be the type to want to hide in a big corporation. You like to share your ideas, whether strategic or 'out of the box’, and it’s a bonus if you have good Adobe Creative Cloud skills ideally with InDesign and Photoshop.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - ideally in a creative discipline

• 2+ years of B2B or product marketing experience preferred

• Experience with digital marketing activities including social media, email campaigns, and content creation

• Event and trade fair experience preferred

• Proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset, able to work both independently and enjoys working collaboratively within a wider marketing and sales team

Salary & Details for the Graduate Marketing Assistant role:

  • A competitive salary & Bonus scheme
