Our client is seeking a Procurement Admin to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring that deliveries are on time and managing supplier relationships. With a modern office, exciting social events, and a competitive salary of up to 30,000 per year, this position is a temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating with suppliers to agree on pricing, quantities, and deliveries.
  • Tracking and managing deliveries to ensure business critical dates are met.
  • Updating received deliveries on internal systems.
  • Processing purchasing requests and raising purchase orders.
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Assisting with the RMA process.
  • Working effectively with the projects team and pre-sales to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Managing DOA equipment by securing replacement items promptly.
  • Providing reporting to management on purchase price variances and delivery times.
  • Effectively communicating with the business to address risks and problematic equipment.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in using SAGE and Sage 50.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in procurement or administration is preferred.
