Electronics Quality Inspector, Ferndown, Up to £33,000 per annum
Purpose
As an Electronics Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in the quality assurance and improvement processes, ensuring all products meet both internal and customer quality requirements. You’ll apply your existing knowledge about electronics manufacturing and assist with the management of inspection, reporting and continuous improvement, ensuring quality requirements are met.
As much as this is a Quality Inspection role, our client are looking for someone to grow into a Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities
As an Electronics Quality Inspector, you will:
• Assist with internal and customer audits, ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the production and supply chain.
• Undertake analysis of poor quality and non-conformance issues, identifying the root cause to determine and enact corrective and preventative actions.
• Assist with inspection of raw materials, producing FAIRs and maintaining FAIR log, in line with relevant quality standards.
• Seek to identify opportunities for improvement, working closely with the Quality Manager to train colleagues and drive culture of continuous improvement.
Background
The successful Electronics Quality Inspector will have:
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment, with an understanding of PCB’s and ideally IPC standards
• Knowledge of inspection, compliance and quality assurance processes.
• Understanding of quality standard requirements, particularly in relation to audits.
• Prior experience within an inspection/testing role, and a strong understanding of quality reporting and preventative actions.
