A CNC Operator is needed for a position that starts on the dayshift for training before transitioning to a 2-shift rotation.
The role involves working on press brake machines, hydraulic or mechanical presses, and requires the ability to understand engineering drawings.

Job Description

CNC Operator needed to initially work on the dayshift to undertake a period of training, following which you will move onto a 2-shift rotation.

Duties

Working on press brake machines

Working on a Hydraulic or mechanical press

Working to and understanding engineering drawings

Setting tools and in process inspection

Required knowledge, skills or experience

Ideally with experience working as second person on a press brake machines, or experience working on a Hydraulic or mechanical press.

Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.

The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 10 people as the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance, setting tools and in process inspection.

Additional Information

Location: Chilton

Hours of work:

Dayshift Mon Thurs: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm

2 shift rotation: Mon Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm

Mon Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm

Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm

Rate of Pay: £13.73 per hour
