Job Description
Our client is looking for a Laser Operator to join their expanding team working a 2 shift rotation. Candidates need to communicate well at a variety of levels (excellent listening skills, verbal, written), have good analytical and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision, capable of understanding specifications and drawings, understand all measuring equipment within the department.
Duties
Setting of tools
Setting of the machine
Editing programs and checking parts
Required knowledge, skills or experience
This person should have experience and knowledge of working on CNC tube laser or CNC flatbed laser machine
Knowledge of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.
The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 3 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.

Location: Chilton
Hours of work:
Dayshift Mon Thurs: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm
2 shift rotation: Mon Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm
Mon Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm
Rate of Pay: £13.73 per hour
