Job Overview:
As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for the precision welding and fabrication of stainless steel components for the aggregate machinery. You will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity, quality, and performance of the equipment, which is crucial for the demanding applications they are designed for. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components for aggregate machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to understand product specifications and welding requirements.
- Assemble and fabricate stainless steel parts with precision, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are met.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet company standards and industry regulations, addressing any defects as needed.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring it is in safe and proper working order.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent hazards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding techniques, product quality, and overall production efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a TIG welder, specifically working with stainless steel.
- Previous experience in fabricating components for industrial machinery, particularly aggregate machinery, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols related to welding and fabrication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certification in welding (TIG) is preferred but not mandatory, depending on experience.
