Are you an experienced HR Advisor, immediately available and looking to work for a growing SME business in the Filey area to cover a 12 month maternity contract? Would you like autonomy in your day-to-day role with the support of the wider group plc when needed?

Have you got an all round generalist HR background with the ability to work in a busy stand alone role?

We are delighted to be working exclusively with an amazing business in the renewables sector who are looking for a interim HR Advisor who can come in and support the wider business during an exciting period of growth.  

What the HR Adviser job involves

  • Providing ER and employment law advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Advising on health and wellbeing and occupational health.
  • Developing collaborative approaches to manage and employee issues / concerns
  • Keeping advice and guidance in line with HR policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the absence and sickness management system and reporting.
  • Working with external recruitment agencies around recruitment.
  • Updating policies and procedures.
  • Managing all recruitment end to end.
  • Coordinating training and development for staff.
  • Sending out offer letters, contracts of employment, variations to terms and managing any other contractual changes.

Skills required

  • HR Adviser experience essential
  • CIPD Qualification level 5 is desirable
  • Understanding of Employment Law and Recruitment
  • Experience of maintaining HR policies and procedures
  • Highly organised and able to work on your own initiative

Other information

  • Full time Monday to Friday 35 hours a week.
  • This is an office based position as they will need you on site each day
  • Car parking is available
  • Easily accessible by car or on public transport
  • Beautiful location and friendly team with a casual dress code.
