Role: Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator

Location: Finmere, Oxfordshire
Hours: 7am - 5pm (full shift paid)
We are seeking a highly experienced Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator to join an earthmoving project in Finmere. The successful candidate will be operating a Volvo 980 machine, a key role in the efficient handling and movement of earth and materials on site.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a Wheeled Loading Shovel to load and transport materials such as soil, aggregates, and other bulk materials
- Ensure safe and precise handling of equipment to meet project requirements
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the machine to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other site operators and workers to achieve project objectives
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards on site at all times
- Blue CPCS Card (essential)
- Safety Critical Medical (essential)
- EKFB induction (ideal but not required)
- Proven experience operating wheeled loading shovels, especially on earthmoving projects
- Strong awareness of safety protocols and efficient machinery operation
