Are you a Design Engineer or similar with an expertise in drainage systems, looking for the opportunity to step into a role with key responsibilities, the opportunity for progression and a variety of company benefits?

This company is a well-established Transport Consultancy with over 20 years in the industry working on a number of small and large scale projects with clients such as Taylor Wimpey, Kier, John Lewis, Mace and local councils. The business is continuously growing and taking on more projects so are looking to expand their workforce.

In this role you will be responsible for design and implementations of innovative drainage solutions, complying to the standards and regulations of the Authorities and Statutory bodies, along with considering the environmental aspects the solutions. You will be designing highways to build sustainable transport solutions putting safety and innovation first.

The Role:

  • Designing draining solutions and highways considering environmental impacts, sustainability and safety
  • Managing the design process of projects from start to finish
  • Ensuring all regulations are complied with
  • Undertaking and authorising relevant information and reports on projects
  • Encouraging continuous improvement and innovation within the team to provide the best solutions to clients

The Person:

  • Experience in highway design and engineering
  • Experience in drainage design using MicroDrainage software
  • Knowledge of the different rules and regulations of highway design
