Working within a small friendly team, this role provides internal sales support to customers around the world. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of engineering or a technical qualification in a mechanical technology.
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to requests for quotations, engineered packages, accessories, and replacement parts.
- Processing, dispatching, and invoicing sales orders accurately.
- Coordinating with couriers to agree on terms as needed.
- Managing all day-to-day aspects of sales order entry.
- Communicating with customers via phone/email for inquiries regarding invoicing, delivery, and other general matters.
- Investigating issues and taking appropriate actions, including arranging returns for faulty items according to ISO9001 procedures.
- Handling service enquiries and progressing jobs to invoice status alongside the operations team.
- Maintaining a quotation log and following up on leads to convert quotes into orders.
- Providing customer service in line with company policies, procedures, and ISO9001 standards.
- Collaborating with the Engineering and Marketing teams to find solutions to customer needs.
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge through internal training sessions.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all processed information.
This role is office based and therefore the ideal candidate will live within 15 miles of Fleet.
