A growing enterprise based in Fleet is looking to appoint a strategic Finance Director on a part-time basis (4 days per week) for a fixed term contract of 6 months. This position will provide a challenging and stimulating opportunity for someone who has gained significant experience of working at Board level, strategic alignment and financial control and management. It is an essential requirement that the successful candidate has come from a financial services background and has therefore worked within an FCA environment.

Part Time Finance Director - About The Role

You will be responsible for the financial management, planning, business analysis and reporting for the organisation, incorporating effective financial controls and cash management for the business.

You will be leading and developing the finance team to ensure reporting and service standards are upheld, ensuring that the business is fully supported.

This position will present a variety of challenges which this person will support the Board to navigate while being responsible for the standard requirements of being a Finance Director.

The successful Part Time Finance Director will have/be:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA , ACCA or equivalent), with 10 years’ post qualification experience
  • Demonstrable background working as a Finance Director or CFO - including development of high performing teams
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Must have worked within the Financial Services industry
  • Experience in reporting regulatory returns with BOE and FCA
  • Experience of working within either the mortgage or lending industry
