The school seeks a passionate individual who can inspire students and foster a love for science. This position is suitable for both qualified teachers and individuals with a degree in Science, Physics, or a related field who are eager to start their teaching journey.

The role offers the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful probationary period or the option of a fixed-term contract for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in science to KS3 and KS4 students.
2. Inspire curiosity and scientific thinking in students of all abilities.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to create high-quality learning resources.
4. Track and support student progress, providing meaningful feedback to aid their development.
5. Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values of care, respect, and inclusivity.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a degree in Science, Physics, or a related field with the desire to pursue teaching.
• A genuine passion for science and a commitment to delivering inspiring lessons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and colleagues effectively.
• Dedication to upholding the school's ethos and values.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection in education.
