We are currently looking for Learning Support Assistants in Hampshire, who are serious about helping to build a positive future for children with SEN!

Location-Farnborough, Hampshire.

Pay-£85 to £105 a day -depending on experience.

Contract type- Long term/ Permanent.

Start date- ASAP.

About the role:

As an LSA, you would need to offer continuous support for the child you work with, assisting them in their studies as they can require additional help, through one-to-one support. You would follow a care plan, help to prepare learning materials, and help the class teacher in managing class behaviour and keeping their learning environment safe. In one-to-one sessions, you should encourage the child to communicate their questions they may have, keep them motivated, manage physical needs if needed and supporting them during social activities like school trips, sports days and PE.

Requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, in a healthcare or educational environment.
  • You would need to be positive, calm, motivational, creative, be assertive and confident.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Motivation to help children with SEN have an advantageous start at life!
  • A right to work in the UK, proof of address, referencing within the last 5 years.
  • An enhanced updated DBS or be willing to acquire one through us.
  • Overseas police check if you’ve outside of the UK for over 6 months in the last 5 years.
