Transport Planner (Highways)

Are you a transport planner with experience in the design and planning of highways with an understanding of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG? Do you want to work with an exceptionally talented team that will heavily invest in you progression and development?

This company is a leading consultancy within transport planning and highway design. They operate across the UK with a number of nationally recognised institutions and commercial developers both in the public and private sectors.

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of transport assessments, statements and travel plans working collaboratively within the team, proactively supporting other staff in developing their knowledge. You will regularly liaise / consult with clients, contractors and local / national authorities on projects and requirements.

The Role

  • Prepare transport assessments, transport statements and travel plans
  • Complete junction capacity assessments
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and local / national authorities
  • Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on-time and to budget
  • Site visits and designing surveys to provide reports and presentations

The person:

  • Degree / or similar in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering
  • Understanding of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG
  • Experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
  • AutoCAD knowledge
