Job Purpose

  • Preparation and finalisation of accounts for owner managed businesses, including Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies
  • Preparation of business tax computations for the same portfolio
  • Review of VAT returns prepared by the client
  • Leading audits for Limited companies
  • Supervising junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing
  • Build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities
  • Work directly with Managers, Directors and Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
  • Oversee on-site work and perform accounting, auditing and computer functions

  • Qualified, part-qualified or studying with recent experience in UK practice
  • Qualified by experience within UK practice would also be considered
  • Technically efficient across audits and accounting
  • Supervisory experience with good people management skills
  • Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Commercial business acumen
