Site Electrician

Location: FleetwoodSalary: £37,800 Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm

My client, a leading manufacturer, is known for its high-quality products and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Night Engineer to join their engineering team and help maintain and improve their production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical inspections to identify faults, ensure compliance and recommend remedial actions.
  • Perform testing and certification of electrical installations, including completion of Electrical Installation Certificates, Condition Reports and Minor Works Certificates.
  • Conduct earth loop impedance testing to verify system safety.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical lighting, emergency lighting, and power systems across the site.
  • Work with both three-phase and single-phase control systems, including switchgear maintenance.
  • Use thermal imaging technology to detect potential issues and complete necessary corrective work.
  • Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
About You:
  • Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with a completed electrical apprenticeship.
  • 17th Edition.
  • Certified in electrical inspection and testing (2391 or 2394/2395).
  • Experience working in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, health & safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
